Curaçao Water Sports

Curaçao in the South Caribbean

Rif St.Marie

Curaçao Water Sports is owned by Steve Elsas, a Canadian of German descent who can speak English, German and Spanish.

It was originally a business centering around a 1990 48-foot Privilege charter catamaran named Psipsina, which my e-mail address is named after.

I'm currently working with the dive resort to use the oceanfront for diving access to the reef.

The dive site is indicated by the arrow in the photo above. The reef is only 75 yards offshore.

I discovered Curaçao in 2008 while sailing, looking for dry land storage for Psipsina. I fell in love with Curaçao's hot, dry, windy climate (a sailor's delight).

It hardly ever rains from November to April, which is when I spend my time here to escape Canadian winters.

I am an avid sailor, with over 40 years of sailing experience and I think this island is an ideal location for all water sports except surfing.
